Food Insecurity Support Starts With a Meal
For some, a healthy meal matters for the nourishment it provides. For others, it might be a relief, or just the knowledge that someone has made an effort on their behalf. As many motivations as there are people.
That kind of understanding is central to Cooking with TiTi. We are a program of Stewie Circle, Inc., and our aim is straightforward: to put good meals in front of those who are food insecure and to find ways for others to be part of it. To do that, we combine community support, education, and fundraising.
Why Food Matters
No one should have to question where their next decent meal will come from. We back the nonprofit work of Stewie Circle, Inc. with grants, private organizations, and donations from the community. Such support allows us to keep our programs running for the people and communities in need.
We also believe the best community support offers a variety of ways to get involved. You might buy from our fundraiser, donate, volunteer, share what we are up to, or help someone else learn about us. The concept is not hard to grasp: when individuals give of themselves, it adds up to something more.
More Than Just Food
While a meal meets an immediate need, education can open a new door.
With Cooking with TiTi, we provide virtual sustainability courses for anyone inclined to put new ideas into practice. It is how we build stronger communities.
Our efforts also connect us with local farmers and partners, building relationships rooted in fresh food and a shared purpose.
We make room for young people in all of this as well. We want youth to have the chance to develop skills and practical experience they can build on.
